What pinene is

Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give a plant its smell. Pinene is a big part of the smell of pine and other conifers, and it's one of the most common terpenes in nature.

Here it usually sits next to citrus. Citrus, sour citrus and Meyer lemon all turn up in these strains' aroma notes, so many of them also live in our citrus CBD strains.

Strains with pinene

Rogue Rollers are our prerolls, ready-rolled joints of hemp flower.

Hawaiian Haze Rogue Rollers pair citrus with tropical and floral notes. Sour Lifter Rogue Rollers are sour citrus over diesel and earth. White CBG Rogue Rollers smell of Meyer lemon, cream and wood. White CBG is a CBG flower, meaning cannabigerol (CBG) is its main cannabinoid instead of CBD.

Some of these also list terpinolene, so our terpinolene CBD strains are a close neighbor. For more pinene hemp flower, browse all our CBD hemp flower.

Our terpene lists describe each cultivar's character. They aren't lab measurements. Every batch is third-party lab tested and comes with a COA (certificate of analysis, the lab's report), and all of it has less than 0.3% delta-9 THC.

Pinene CBD Strains FAQ

What does pinene smell like?

Like pine. You'll also catch it in rosemary, basil, dill and orange peel.

What is the difference between alpha-pinene and pinene?

Pinene comes in two natural forms, alpha-pinene and beta-pinene. They're made of the same atoms, arranged a little differently. Alpha-pinene is the more common one. Some of our products list "Alpha-Pinene" and some just "Pinene," so alpha pinene strains and pinene strains both land on this page.

Which of your strains list pinene?

Every product on this page does. The lineup changes with each harvest, so the grid above shows what's here now.
