Common questions, answered by the farm.
Orange Pineapple is hemp flower, and CBD is its dominant cannabinoid. Every batch is third-party lab tested to confirm less than 0.3% delta-9 THC, and the numbers for the batch you receive are on its lab report.
No. There's a high-THC strain called Orange Pineapple, sold by several breeders. Ours is a Type 3 hemp cultivar, which means CBD is the dominant cannabinoid. Reviews and lab numbers you find under that name elsewhere are for the other plant.
It's a sativa-dominant hybrid that leans daytime. Every individual responds differently.
The smell is pineapple and orange peel, close to sour pineapple candy, with a sour spice that comes forward when you break a bud. The taste is sour pineapple and orange peel over a peppery undertone, with a tangy finish that fades clean.
We grew it at Rogue Family Farms in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon, in Zone 8, a trial block we hand-planted. It's hang-dried on the branch and hand-trimmed on the farm.
Our branches hang upside down in the dry barn for 10 to 14 days before they go into Super Sacks. Rushing that step can leave flower harsh and fade its aroma, so we give each harvest the time it needs.
Smalls are a byproduct of trimming Tops. Tops are trimmed after you order, and the smaller buds separated out in that trim become Smalls. Their supply depends on how many Tops orders are trimmed. Same cultivar, same lab results, lower price per gram.
Orange Pineapple is one of the first varieties ready from our 2026 sungrown harvest.
Orange Pineapple comes from Beacon Hemp's breeding program.
It grew in Zone 8, a trial block we hand-planted at our farm in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon.
It smells like pineapple and orange peel, a lot like sour pineapple candy. Break a bud open and a sour spice comes forward.
The buds are all green, olive and lime, with heavy pale-gold frost, bright orange pistils and long spear-shaped colas.
The smoke is smooth and tastes of sour pineapple and orange peel over a peppery spice, with a tangy finish that fades clean.
There's also a high-THC strain called Orange Pineapple. Ours is a Type 3 hemp cultivar, which means CBD is the dominant cannabinoid. The two only share a name.
It's a sativa-dominant hybrid that leans daytime. Every individual responds differently.
At harvest the crew cuts whole branches and hangs them upside down on aluminum drying hangers in our dry barn for a slow 10 to 14 day dry and cure. The branches then go into Super Sacks in a temperature- and humidity-controlled room, where the flower stays on the stem until it's bucked and hand-trimmed here on the farm. Rushing the drying and curing process can leave flower harsh and fade its aroma, so we give it the time it needs to lock in the unique flavors, smells, and terpenes.
Every batch is third-party lab tested.
