Garlic, Mushroom, Onion. It's a growers' nickname for the savory smell the GMO family is known for, and it has nothing to do with genetic modification. Rainbow GMO is a conventional cross, grown from seed on our farm in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon.
No. There's a high-THC strain called GMO, also sold as Garlic Cookies. Ours is a Type 3 hemp cultivar, which means CBD is the dominant cannabinoid. Reviews and lab numbers you find under that name elsewhere are for the other plant.
Rainbow GMO is hemp flower, and CBD is its dominant cannabinoid. Every batch is third-party lab tested to confirm delta-9 THC within 2018 Farm Bill limits, and the numbers for the batch you receive are on its lab report.
It's an indica-dominant hybrid. The GMO side of the family leans indica. We've put it in the nighttime lane.
The smell is heavy and savory, musky garlic, diesel and earth, with a sweet candied-citrus edge underneath. Breaking a bud brings the garlic and gas forward. The taste is savory garlic and diesel with a candied-citrus undertone and an earthy funk that lingers.
We grew it at Rogue Family Farms in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon, in Zone 8, a six-cultivar trial block we hand-planted. It's hang-dried whole and hand-trimmed on the farm.

The smoke tastes of savory garlic and diesel, with a sweet candied-citrus undertone and an earthy funk that lingers.
There's also a high-THC strain called GMO, sometimes sold as Garlic Cookies. Ours is a Type 3 hemp cultivar, which means CBD is the dominant cannabinoid. The two only share part of a name.
2026 is our first season with it.
It went into Zone 8, a six-cultivar trial block we hand-planted, alongside Lemon, Platinum, Platinum M A4, Blue Pineapple and Orange Pineapple.
On our bags and in our records it is written Rainbow GMO Quik. The Quik part is a growing note, not part of the name: it marks a cross bred to finish earlier in the season, which is why it's one of the first varieties ready from the 2026 harvest.
It leans indica, so we've put it in the nighttime lane.
The whole plants hang to dry and get hand-trimmed here on the farm. Every batch is third-party lab tested.
